Ron Plymale Honors
- Ohio SuperLawyers – Twice selected (2004 and 2005) by fellow lawyers. Requirements for selection—deemed by nominating committee to be in the top five percent (5%) of specialty (general negligence).
- Life Fellow of the Roscoe Pound American Trial Lawyers – Organization dedicated to research and teaching of principles of trial justice. Named in honor of the former Dean of Harvard Law School, Roscoe Pound.

- President of the Franklin County Association for Justice 1979 to 1980. ( Formerly the Franklin County Trial Lawyers Association.)
- Largest Damage Verdict ever awarded in Pickaway County, Ohio Courts (4.3 million dollars in 1998 as trial co-council with associate John Gonzales.)
- Admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court (1974).
- Former Board Certified Specialist in Civil Litigation (1995 – 2005)
